- The Flow Security Systems PRE-VENT Fuel Cap represents the latest in fuel cap technoloy. The FSS 754 pre-vent cap is designed to permit the controlled release of fuel tank pressure from volatile fuels. When removing the cap to refuel, a 1/2 turn of the pre-vent cap releases the fuel tank pressure before the cap's sealing gasket is released from the filler neck. This feature dramatically reduces the possibility of fuel expulsion from the filler neck when the cap is removed. The FSS 754 pre-vent security cap is for use on diesel, transfer and auxilary tanks. Allows pumping of fuel at 15 gpm without removal of cap. The FSS 754 pre-vent security cap helps to maintain fuel quality by reducing condensation and evaporation loss.
