This 9 wire Y or T shaped adapter connects to the existing Deutsch 9 pin computer connection in your Truck. One end replaces the existing Deutsch connector in the under dash location. The unmounted existing Deutsch 9 pin connection plugs into the adapter, then adding a separate OBD2 power source and data for tracking and various mobile electronics access point.
This adapter offers a complete 9 wire through connection while leaving the factory location access point to the vehicles computer for downloading or accessing vehicle codes. Works great for In Car monitoring devices using Bluetooth Interfaces for Android, iphone, ipad, ipod. Aftermarket device may need to be un-pluged or off for reader to scan properly.
